Requirements:
- State License or ASE certification required
- 2+ years of Automotive Repair Experience preferred
- Proficiency with scan tools, iPads, and computers
- Strong attention to detail in record-keeping
- Familiarity with shop equipment operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:
- Safely position vehicles on lifts for diagnostics
- Perform thorough inspections and accurately report vehicle conditions
- Determine repair priorities and consult with Parts/Advisors to provide estimates
- Maintain personal set of tools for vehicle servicing
- Keep detailed records of parts, fluids, and project hours

Position: Customer Service Shuttle Driver

About Us: At Palmer Auto Service, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional automotive services with a commitment to customer satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to providing a seamless experience for every client, from the moment they entrust us with their vehicle to the moment they drive it home. We're currently seeking a reliable and personable individual to join us as a Customer Service Shuttle Driver.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and courteous transportation for customers to and from their desired locations, such as home, work, or alternate transportation hubs.
- Coordinate vehicle pickup and drop off schedules for customers, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Drive company vehicles to pickup and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments.
- Retrieve parts and supplies from suppliers as needed.
- Conduct test drives of customer vehicles post-repair to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shuttle vehicles and ensure they are properly fueled and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to coordinate vehicle movements and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to timeliness and efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
