Car Show, Cider and Donuts!

Palmer Auto Service LLC is hosting a Hot Rod Halloween Car Show in conjunction with the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce’s Hometown Halloween. A variety of classic and customized vehicles will be on display at 222 S. Main St. on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 am till 1 pm.

In celebration of their 15th anniversary, Palmer Auto Service will provide complimentary cider and donuts.

"We would like to thank the community for their support over the past 15 years, Each passing year has brought a sense of accomplishment, and without our customer's confidence in our services, this would not be possible," said Robert (Bob) Mock, Jr, Owner of Palmer Auto Service.

Space is Limited! Pre-Register to ensure your space - the last few years the lot was full! We will accept non-registered vehicles day if room allows.

Important Details for Car Show Registrants:

- Please plan to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. to ensure a smooth check-in. 

- If you’re planning to park with friends, make sure to arrive together, as parking spaces will be assigned upon arrival.

- We’ll hold registered spots until 10:00 a.m. After that, any unfilled spaces will be given to non-registered vehicles.

- The show officially kicks off at 10:00 a.m., and we would love to have everyone in place by then!

- No alcohol is permitted on Palmer Auto Service property.

If your plans have changed and you’re unable to attend, please let us know by calling (734) 475-1301 so we can release your space to someone new. We want to ensure that everyone who wants to participate has a chance, as the lot has been completely full the last few years!

Recap from the 2024 Hot Rod Halloween Car Show in Chelsea, MI

Palmer Auto Service's Hot Rod Halloween Car Show was a huge success thanks to the wonderful vehicle-owners who came out to showcase their stunning cars and trucks! The event had 68 classic and customized vehicles on display.

After much admiration and tough competition, we’re excited to announce the

top three "People's Choice Award" winners:

First Place: Keith Hume with his stunning 1937 Ford Coupe
Second Place: Bernie Kranz showcasing a classic 1932 Ford 500 Coupe
Third Place: Tom Heath with his beautifully restored 1968 Pontiac Lemans

In celebration of their 15th Anniversary, Palmer Auto Service provided complimentary cider, donuts and popcorn. We'd also like to thank our friends at Jasper Engines & Transmissions and Garage Gurus for sending awesome swag and  to spice up the show!

In addition to the impressive cars on display, the event featured a T-Shirt Exchange in support of Toys for Tots and Teens, bringing the spirit of giving to this year's festivities. 

Most importantly, we would like to thank the community for their support over the past thirteen years, Each passing year has brought a sense of accomplishment, and without our customer's confidence in our services, this would not be possible!
